Vibroacoustic Therapy

“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” -Plato

Where your body and your mind become one.

Aboriginals used the didgeridoo to heal people. Pythagoras prescribed the harmonic frequencies of music as medicine in 500 B.C. to soothe animals and people. Today, chanting, gongs, hip hop, EDM, ambient music and every other genre of music is used to heal people in one way or another.

Vibrations stimulate nerves in the spine, brain stem, the limbic system that drives emotional response, and activates the auditory nerve that connects to muscle nerves. Low frequency bass causes muscle tissues to relax, blood vessels to dilate, and increases the body’s capacity to heal.

Dr. Lee Bartel explores how sound can stimulate cells in your body and brain.
